Kashagan Field reported active production of oil and gas equivalent of over 14 million tons in H1 2025. As of July 4, its cumulative oil output has exceeded 1 billion barrels. PetroChina has been deeply involved in joint operation management, with a focus on continuously optimizing production operations through three key initiatives: maintaining stable production in Phase I, increasing production in Phases II and III, and advancing oil and gas cooperation in the North Caspian Sea. Currently, the Phase I project has already achieved an annual production capacity of 18 million tons of crude oil and 12 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
